Young Hendrixx turned 6 months old so a photo shoot was in order for the young fella. I haven’t done too many in-home portrait sessions, but they are beginning to be one of my favorite things to do. I really enjoy capturing people in their element. Sometimes during sessions I don’t really want to do too many posed shots. I prefer capturing real moments. What I noticed is everyone is relaxed; we don’t have to rush or worry about foot traffic and outside interferences.
When I arrived there wasn’t much I had to do after I got setup. When I say all of the props were already there for me to choose from…Talk about being excited! Not only that, but the natural light that was coming through the windows was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better setup. Hendrixx was such a good baby during our session. I have had my fair share of over active kiddos, grumpy kids and even apathetic come to think about it, but Hendrixx was one of my best behaved. He gave me all the eye contact I needed, all of the cute baby faces AND he had a nice selection of clothes. This guy is going to be a heart breaker when he gets older I’m telling you.
